The eastern ore field, up on a mountainside (northern slope of Brentling mountain), is now largely mined out. A much smaller number of mineral species is known by comparison to the western ore field.
In 2008, parts of the dumps were removed and their W content was assayed, with positive results.
Access to the ore field is only via a private road owned by the mining company.
