A large disseminated low grade zinc-lead deposit in which the bulk of the mineralisation occurs in a 10-90 m thick quartz-mica-feldspar schist which forms a brightly coloured vuggy gossan. This grades upward into poorly mineralised quartzite and is underlain by as thin garnet-rich calc-siliicate unit containing only sporadic mineralisation. (Extract from Cairncross 1995)
