Köppen climate type:
Located about 30 km east of Chadan. Calcite, ankerite, siderite carbonatite.
The ore field, approximately 20 km2, hosts eight discovered ore-bearing carbonatite bodies. They are enclosed in Ordovician–Silurian sandstones and siltstones and older metamorphosed rocks of the basement. All the bodies are localized in fault zones and within brecciated and altered rocks at their intersections. There are two large tubular bodies with a zoned concentric structure 400 × 550 and 670 × 750 m in size. Other carbonatite bodies are dike-shaped, 300–1300 m long, and up to 100–160 m thick. Tubular bodies are multiphase and are composed of older ankerite–calcite and later fluorite–barite–siderite carbonatites.
