An old Pb-Zn mine, working mineralizations in Triassic limestones on the east slope of Alpleskopf Mt, at around 1,500 m asl.

Known for acicular wulfenite.

Note: According to the Austrian topographical map, the Dirstentritt encompasses a large area on the shallow eastern slope of Alpleskopf mountain, and also includes the mine at Alpleskopf, which is located a little higher up the slope and listed as a separate locality. Exel (1993) refers to both mines as Dirstentritt.
