Detailed Mineral List:

ⓘ Calcite
Formula: CaCO3
ⓘ Chalcopyrite
Formula: CuFeS2
Colour: Gold
Description: Very commonly found sprinkled across dolomite.
✪ Dolomite
Formula: CaMg(CO3)2
Habit: Saddle-shaped
Colour: White
Description: Extremely common throughout the quarry. Huge amounts of vuggy limestone material can be found lined with creamy white dolomite.
ⓘ Fluorite
Formula: CaF2
Habit: Not crystallized
Colour: Purple
Description: Small (3cm) zone of massive purple fluorite mixed with massive calcite. The formation most likely predates the main mineralization (i.e. dolomitization).
ⓘ 'Petroleum var. Bitumen'
Description: Black blobs of bitumen can sometimes be found coating vug material.
✪ Quartz
Formula: SiO2
Habit: Prismatic
Colour: Colourless
Description: Commonly found as prismatic needle crystals lining vugs in associated with dolomite and calcite.
