I've been listening to a lot of holiday music this December. I'm a bit of a music hoarder and have over 600 Christmas/Yule/Hanukkah/New Years songs on my seasonal playlist. I'm kind of terrible at making mixtapes, but I thought it would be fun to distill the giant playlist down to just the songs that are speaking to me the most this year.
So, here are 22 songs I love to get you through the darkest part of the year. It's a mix of classic Christmas carols and newer songs, but mostly all leaning in the pop/rock/indie direction because that's where my heart wanted to go.
