• Olivia Rodrigo might be pretty sad for a girl so in love, but she might be pretty happy for a girl who is setting records for her third album.

• Back in 2020, Taylor Swift debuted with 80 million first day streams for her surprise 16-track album Folklore. Taylor has broken that first-day record herself several times over with subsequent releases, but no other female act has surpassed the "Folklore wall" until today when Olivia debuted on Spotify with 81.5 million filtered streams w/13 album tracks.

• She broke some other records too. you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love became the first album by a female act to have three songs reach number one on the Spotify global chart ("drop dead", "the cure", and "stupid song"). At 23 Olivia is the youngest female artist to hit #1 on Spotify's Top Artist charts. And all 13 album tracks charted in the Global Spotify top 20.

ontd rodriOlds, have you streamed the album? how do you rank the gen z chanteuses?
