Title: Singular
Author: Ancalime8301
Rating: R overall
Character(s): Holmes, Watson, Mary, brief appearances by Mycroft and Clarkie
Summary: Holmes and Watson recuperate from separate ordeals while kidnapped and their relationship takes on a new aspect.
Warnings: kidnapping and torture in the first chapter; later chapters contain het, slash, and threesome (Holmes/Watson/Mary and various combinations thereof)
Word Count: 17,405 for the whole fic
Author's Notes: The kidnap/torture portion of this story [i.e. the first chapter] was actually a dream I had a while back. The rest just kind of meandered after that, though I think I had a threesome prompt from the kinkmeme in mind. RDJ!verse (but only based on the first movie, so it's not really compatible with the second)

Title: Shattered
Rating: PG-13
Wordcount: 5,156
Characters: Holmes, Watson, Mycroft
Warnings: Character deaths (murder, suicide)
Summary: Only one thing can break Sherlock Holmes: losing Watson.
A/N: I took the ending of ACD's Three Garridebs story, changed it, and ran with it from there. Written for the shkinkmeme prompt: I am craving angsty suicide fic from the POV of the person commiting suicide. Preferably a Holmes, though anyone will do. Any verse. any reason. No crack, Serious fic only.
Applicable tags: Canon-based; warning: suicide; warning: character death; angst:mental; character:mycroft holmes, character:holmes, rating: pg-13; depression; grief; warning:violence; warning:alternative universe; nervous breakdown

Title: Perception

Warnings: none I can think of
Summary: Holmes is injured during a case and must cope with the possibility he may never fully regain his hearing or sight. Watson cares for him and must cope with the fact that he has feelings for Holmes.
A/N: Written for a shkinkmeme prompt: After an experiment/a case gone wrong, Holmes temporarily loses both his hearing and eyesight. He can only communicate by touch and can only bear to be touched by Watson. Cue major hurt/comfort and eventual Holmes/Watson. (Book or BBC!verse preferred.)
Applicable tags: canon-based; angst; character:watson; character:holmes; rating:r; hearing loss; blindness; hurt/comfort; warning:alternative universe; warning:sexual content (near the end of the story); warning:slash

Title: Country Holiday
Rating: PG
Characters: Holmes, Watson, village folk including OFC
Wordcount: 8,226 total
Summary: Watson takes Holmes on holiday for his health, but even small country villages have crimes to solve.
A/N: Canon-based. Written for the shkinkmeme prompt: It seems to me that every time Watson insists that, for the good of Holmes's health, he must go on a holiday to the country...wherever they go there is murder and burglaries and, well, basically, a mystery for Holmes to solve.
So...Holmes is rather ill and run down. Watson takes him to the country. A case pops up. I'm really looking for one of two things: [...]
2. Watson isn't able to stop him and Holmes's health is seriously effected; for once another case is NOT just the cure he was looking for to save him from his latest illness. It puts him seriously at risk.
So basically I want sick!Holmes with either a dose of silliness and humor or seriousness and hurt/comfort or some mix of all these things. Any verse.

Also fills my hc_bingo square "Severe/life-threatening illness".
Applicable tags: canon-based; character:holmes; character:watson; character:other; hurt/comfort; timeline:post-hiatus; friendship/non-slash; rating:pg-13; angst; angst:mental

Title: Won't let you choke.
Author: deepbluemermaid.
Genre: John/Sherlock slash and hurt/comfort.
Rating / Warnings: R for detailed description of a medical emergency (choking) and non-graphic sexual content (including D/s).
Word count: 4,300 words.

Author's notes: this is the final story in my "Higher Than Reason" series. It'll make much more sense if you read the previous fics first:

Reading too much meaning from existence (a three-part story about Sherlock at Oxford)
Food for thought (a character study of John as he readjusts to civilian life)
A gun and a pack of sandwiches (John learns to cook, and re-evaluates his friendship with Sherlock)

Summary: John has gone to a lot of trouble to keep Sherlock alive and in reasonable health – everything from making him eat salad to shooting a man for him. So it's bitterly ironic that his cooking nearly does Sherlock in, one Friday night in September.

Title: Searching for Fine
Author: Dayja
Summary: Five times someone tried to "prove" to Sherlock that he wasn't actually asexual, and the one person to whom it didn't matter.
Rating: teen
Genre: BBC Sherlock fandom (no real spoilers), brief het/slash, …non-sexual slash (not really ‘gen’ but not a sexual relationship either)
Warnings: non-explicit sexual activities, attempted rape (part 3), some language, WIP
Disclaimer: I don’t own/am making no money from/am not associated with BBC Sherlock.

So... I've been writing stuff for shkinkmeme but failing to link it anywhere else. There are several that fit in this community, so I thought I'd lump them all into one post so I wouldn't be spamming y'all. I did my best to include all of the proper warnings, but in case I missed something, I included the prompts I wrote these fics for -that should hopefully more than suffice to tell you whether you will want to click or not. (Some of it is dark/twisted, I know. The kinkmeme has been an interesting experience for me, to say the least.)

Incidentally, today marks a year since I started posting Holmes fic (and I began with this community, even!). It's been a great year. :D

Title: Paying Back
Author: Dayja
Summary: Some men do not appreciate Sherlock’s handling of their cases. They decide to pay him back. Written in response to a kink prompt which I cannot find again despite scouring the prompts pages for at least half an hour.
Pairings: None explicit, strong Sherlock/John friendship and appearances by Lestrade and Mycroft
Rating: R, mature...mostly for violence in the first chapter
Warnings: Graphic Violence. Some strong language.
Genre: Hurt/comfort, gen
Length: 6,000 words
Spoilers: Sherlock series one. Except nothing explicit from the show, unless you consider it a spoiler that there is a man named Sherlock who solves cases and sometimes annoys the police, or that he has a flatmate named John. In which case, you are clearly very lost to be reading this at all.
Disclaimer: I own nothing/am not associated with Sherlock. I make no money from this.

Title: Paying Back
Author: Dayja
Summary: Some men do not appreciate Sherlock’s handling of their cases. They decide to pay him back. Written in response to a kink prompt which I cannot find again despite scouring the prompts pages for at least half an hour.
Pairings: May be John/Sherlock. More likely to include vague references to a relationship that could simply refer to strong friendship than to have a sex scene thrown in. I make no promises either way.
Rating: R, mature...mostly for violence in the first chapter
Warnings: Graphic Violence. Probably no sex, but I make no promises. Work-in-Progress. I get a lot of ideas at once and for some reason feel the need to fill them all. At once. This doesn’t always work very well when it comes to updating and completing things.
Genre: Hurt/comfort, mostly hurt in this particularly chapter.
Spoilers: Sherlock series one. Except so far nothing explicit from the show, unless you consider it a spoiler that there is a man named Sherlock who solves cases and sometimes annoys the police, or that he has a flatmate named John. In which case, you are clearly very lost to be reading this at all.
Disclaimer: I own nothing/am not associated with Sherlock. I make no money from this.

Title: Drowning
Author: Dayja
Summary: Sherlock has never learned to swim.
Rating: R
Genre: Angst, hurt/comfort
Warnings: Character death (not Sherlock or John but still a bit more traumatic than a random character on a random crime scene).
Spoilers: Series 1, particularly ep. 3
Disclaimer: I do not own and am not affiliated with the BBC Sherlock series. I am making no money from this.

Author’s Note: This story actually started off based upon this Sherlockbbc_fic prompt: …which I can’t find, but involved a scene of John teaching Sherlock to swim. Which made me think up reasons why Sherlock wouldn’t already know, which spawned a much darker and angstier version of such a story than the prompter was probably looking for.
