kinda inspired by the tolkien100 prompt of "find a friend"... Merry found Faramir and Eowyn in the Houses of Healing so i guess that applies. :P

or Tolkien Reading Day.  Frodo has completed his task! Sauron is defeated. The best new year, methinks for i've done so much in past years to celebrate.

:D I was rereading Houses of Healing and in search of good post-Quest angsty fic (well reading one right now on SoA and it's hitting the spot but more fics would be great as well)

ALso happy birthday to Grey_wonderer! (3/24) <3

This is a birthday mathom for her (unedited so feel free to point out grammatical issues and the like.

Post quest ficlet (Merry and Pippin)

So I must write some type of fic.  :P (wish i can excuse myself from work too ;)

Inspired by this line:

“”And so they stood on the walls of the City of Gondor, and a great wind rose and blew, and their hair, raven and golden, streamed out mingling in the air. And the SHadow departed, and the Sun was unveiled, and the light leaped forth; and the waters of Anduin shone like silver, and in all the houses of the City men sang for the joy that welled up in their hearts from what source they could not tell.”
