TV watching + writing updates

scintilla10I've really been enjoying watching some feel-good TV lately! :D
Legends of Tomorrow
This is a new-to-me show, but it's into its 6th season now. I'm completely charmed that the focus of the show is on a group of time-traveling misfits who screw things up (for the better!). They're delightful. Some of the plot choices are deliciously wild and tropey and I'm into it.
We Are Lady Parts
I watched this recently and loved it! A sitcom about a British punk band made up of Muslim women. There are only 6 episodes, but it's a show (and collection of characters) that totally steals your heart.
Ted Lasso
I love shows about people who are trying to be/do better. It's such a warm and kind-hearted show to watch. (And funny!)
Have you watched any of these shows? Do you have any feel-good TV recs?
Also, if you have any fanworks recs for any of these shows, especially fic and art (or icons!), I'll happily accept them. I'm open to gen and a lot of different ships, so feel free to share your favourites.
For writing updates, I picked up and wrote a pinch hit (for an exchange that hasn't revealed yet) and I'm pleased to have kept some of my writing momentum going! I also signed up for![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
ficinabox and I'm both nervous and excited (the 10k length makes me nervous, but a great assignment has me excited).
Also!seasonsofdrabbles is a fun-looking drabble community that is currently open for nominations. I was amused to see that someone (not even me!) has nominated Beebo in Legends of Tomorrow.

Date: 2021-09-05 09:58 am (UTC)My feel-good TV at the moment is the BBC sitcom Ghosts, about an ordinary couple who inherit a mansion haunted by ghosts from different historical periods. It's hilarious, surprisingly deep at times and very heartwarming.
