Located 100 yards south-east of the Kong Bore, and 500 yards north of the Kong Bore South Workings. There are two shafts, the northern one down to 100 feet depth, with one drive, and the southern shaft also 100 feet depth, with a drive at the 70 foot level, and another at the 100 foot level.

The pegmatite dips steeply west, with a thick quartz core, and zone of fine grained quartz, weathered feldspar, and muscovite. There was (is) abundant clear mica at the mine, although much was bent and unsaleable. The Hanging Wall is poorly defined with the pegmatite impregnating the country rock for at least 40 feet. There is much kaolin in the upper levels, and the shafts could be collapsed. Apart from large hornblende pieces, massive epidote in quartz and feldspar is occasionally found, and schorl crystals near the pegmatite. Small rutile crystals are reported in the area, by sieving dump material.

The Webbs established Mt. Riddock Station. They had arrived at the Arltunga Goldfield in 1902, and while finding some gold, decided more money could be made supplying the miners with meat. Over the years they continued to dabble in local mining. The station was established by Benjamin Mark Webb, and Joseph Louis Schaber, with the homestead built in 1910. Webb's three sons, Bennett, Qinton, and Kil, and Schaber's son Roy then took over. They are credited with establishing the annual Harts Ranges Races at Atitjere in 1946. The station was purchased by Dick and Ann Cadzow in 1986.
