Bay State claim
A former small surface and underground Mn mine located in East-central (SE¼SE¼NE¼) sec. 21, T.23S., R.24E., about 900 feet (ca. 274 m) South of the Cole shaft and West of the Atlas claim, approximately 1.5 miles (2.41 km) W of Warren, on private land.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit of hard manganese oxide masses in disconnected lenses along fissure zones in Naco Limestone. An associated rock unit is the Sacramento Hill Stock.
Workings include (an) adit(s) and surface openings. About 800 tons of sorted ore were produced around 1917-1918.
