Köppen climate type:
Volcanic Complex of about 4 x 2 km situated in the central part of Wasaki Peninsula (Le Bas 1970, 1977). A basal pyroclastic group is partly covered by 300 m of nephelinitic and phonolitic lavas, which were fed from a reticulated system of dikes. Some 60 phonolite dikes up to 3 km long and generally 1 to 15 m thick have been identified and are thought to have been feeders for the lavas.

Geochronology
Mineralization age: Miocene : 18.3 ± 0.5 Ma to 10.6 ± 0.3 MaImportant note: This table is based only on rock and mineral ages recorded on mindat.org for this locality and is not necessarily a complete representation of the geochronology, but does give an indication of possible mineralization events relevant to this locality. As more age information is added this table may expand in the future. A break in the table simply indicates a lack of data entered here, not necessarily a break in the geologic sequence. Grey background entries are from different, related, localities.
