A series of drill holes for a tin mine.

"The mineralisation at Mpama North site consists a number of narrow veins, blocks or dispersions of cassiterite hosted in a chlorite schist. The tin mineralisation is also strongly associated with copper, introduced in late-stage fractures." (https://www.mining-technology.com/projects/bisie-tin-project/)

The Mpama North orebody has a 165 000 t Sn pre-mining reserve (>200 000 t Sn resource, measured and indicated compliant with the CIM reporting code) and is currently producing 12 000 t Sn/a at a run-off-mine grade of 4.5 % Sn. This accounts for 4 % of the world’s tin production. Bisie Tin Mine is located about 500–600 m east of the granite, within a shear zone developed parallel to the lithological boundary between the intrusive suite and the host country rock.
