Old mining district. Celtic mining on Fe ore and medieval to modern mining on Pb and Cu ores.

Müsen is a district ("Stadtteil") of Hilchenbach in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Müsen is located above Hilchenbach-Dahlbruch in northern Siegerland at around 340 m in the Rothenbachtal. The Rothenbachtal is a valley that opens to the south, between the Martinshardt with a height of 616.1 m, the Kindelsberg with a height of 617.9 m, the Ziegenberg with a height of 521 m and the Breitenberg with a height of 529 m. The highest mountain in the area is the Hohe Wald, with a height of 655 m.

Above the Rothenbachtal, at the transition to Littfeld, is the Altenberg with a medieval mine site. At the end of the Rothenbachtal, the Winterbach flows into the Rothenbach. Neighboring towns of Müsen are Silberg and Brachthausen in the north, Hilchenbach in the extreme northeast, Allenbach in the east, Dahlbruch in the south, Kredenbach in the southwest, Ferndorf in the west and Littfeld and Burgholdinghausen in the northwest.
