Hole OK-DD-10 could be considered the discovery hole, returning 3.95 m grading 4.49 g/t Au within 13.7 m grading 1.68 g/t Au. A second round of drilling of 3,037 m extended the drilled strike length to 1,200 m and 150 m of vertical depth with a highlight of 7.17 m grading 7.75 g/t Au in OK-DD-25. One vein tested the narrow Pyrrha vein and returned the first bonanza grades with 1.22 m grading 55.4 g/t Au from 40 m depth within a zone of 9.0 m grading 8.2 g/t Au.
The green basalts, which host the veins, are visibly altered to a buff color becoming demagnetized, increasingly illite-smectite altered, and cut by numerous calcite and silica veinlets in proximity to the fault.
