Baragoi is a market town in Kenya, lying north of Maralal and east of the Suguta Valley. It is located in Samburu County.

Baragoi area is regarded as an area of some 1,189 square miles in north-central Kenya bounded by the parallels 10' 30" N. and 20' N., and by the meridians 36' 30" E. and 37'E.

The main access road to Baragoi is the A4 road from Rumuruti-Maralal-Baragoi, which as of 2019 was being tarmacked from Rumuruti up to Maralal. The stretch of 108 km from Maralal to Baragoi is still unpaved.

Gem mining.

Blue beryl is known from pegmatites at Nachola.
