A minor producer of manganese.

Indicated to lie a short distance to the east of the Treburland Mine, which was worked for tin and wolfram.

The manganese ore is noted to occur as irregular, possibly bedded lenticular masses lying between 5 and 10 metres below ground surface in metamorphosed slates, calc-flints and siliceous beds with intrusions of metabasic rock.

The only recorded output is for 470 tons of ore between the years 1887 and 1890.

Note on the mineral list: Genthelvite has been removed from the list due to the high probability of fraudulent recording of discovery by A.W.G. Kingsbury.
