I made an icon!

(Gankable; credit
Icons of the sign already exist, but I didn't have one and didn't feel like asking all over the place, so I just googled it and made my own from this image.
From http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/Europe/Germany/Land_Berlin/Berlin-75302/Things_To_Do-Berlin-Checkpoint_Charlie-BR-1.html :
When Berlin was still divided, you saw these signs all over the place at the wall: 'You are leaving the American sector.' They were there before the wall was actually built in 1961. After the war (until 1990), Zehlendorf, Steglitz, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg, Tempelhof and Neukölln belonged to the the American sector. The only sign still existing nowadays, however, is at Checkpoint Charlie.

Smile, the puppy loves you!
ftmichael @ 21:07
How bad can life possibly be after seeing this?
I once saw a page that was nothing but icons like this one of puppies and kittens licking the screen. If it still exists anywhere and someone knows of it, I'd love a link.

(no subject)

This circulated a few years ago; it was said that some famous person, whose name now escapes me, used it as his speech at some college commencement. He issued a public statement saying that that's not his speech at all; he neither wrote nor read it anywhere. But it's still great, whoever wrote it. I like it a lot.
