In all seriousness, I'm not so much upset that the series is ending, but more of how it's ending. It had so much potential, yet a lot of it was wasted, and there were so many things I wanted to see that didn't happen or elaborated on like they should have been.

So this post isn't completely pointless, random rec!
Northern Exposure
Summary: (Arthur/Merlin, R, 9056) Merlin’s foreign exchange was supposed to be an adventure, but it turned into a teenage drama during the first day and by the holidays already resembled an overly romantic Christmas movie. Long cold winter nights, huge piles of snow and learning noun cases that made his head hurt had all been part of the plan; falling for his annoying flat mate, huskies, glass igloos and Northern Lights had not.

The warning for excessive fluff isn't kidding; this fic is all sorts of adorable, I found myself giggling and going "Aww" throughout the entire thing. Arthur being Arthur but secretly smitten and Merlin being completely oblivious was great. I just wish there was more, because I would read 9k more of this. Great fic for a pick-me-up.

I know a couple of people have done this already, and I wanted to do it before it gets too late, SO!
