Got a cloud sleeping on my tongue He goes then it goes and kiss the violets as they’re waking up Leave me with your Borneo, I said Leave me the way I was before, but
You’re already in there I’ll be wearing your tattoo, yes I’m already in
Sneaky, or rather unexpected. Someone who comes into your life, in a mundane fashion, and then leaves you changed forever. The wood delivery man, the dentist, the guy who washes your car. Just a stranger, walking through, and leaving indelible marks on you. With a look, a word, or a movement, you're changed forever, by this messenger from God, Nature, the Universe, or yourself. Some change is sneaky. A drop of water seeping into a crack, then freezing, then expanding, and hurting you. Alerting you to its presence. And you may well want to be left "the way you were before". But that's impossible.
"And yesterday I saw you kissing tiny flowers, But all that lives is born to die. " Led Zeppelin-That's the Way...
Now we know that Tor loves Robert and that her brother Michael introduced her to Led Zep. So I have always thought that the above quote and "kiss the violets" were connected, somehow. Violets are rather tiny. The cloud be a thought, a wish, a blown kiss...violets are used in witchcraft for love, faeries, divination, and babies.

Quote 1 Little Earthquakes:Crucify Why do we crucify ourselves Every day I crucify myself Nothing I do is good enough for you Crucify myself Every day I crucify myself And my HEART is sick of being In chains Response:
I remember living, eating, and breathing this album when I lived with my first live-in boyfriend. It was over, and I was dreading moving out. This is so indicative of that relationship. He was so new age, and I thought that meant that he loved the Goddess, or he could see the Goddess in me. He was only interested in what his "Guides" told him and he pressed me to follow the same path as he did. I tried, but you can only go so far down a road that isn't yours. The most liberating thing about this passage, is that if "she" is crucifying herself, she can damn well stop. She can free herself from those chains that her heart is in, she can love herself, give herself whatever she's not getting, and finally "Get off the Cross" (Big Wheel).
I will pass this on to Anne rice's page on Facebook. It's already gotten some attention, but some of the people of the page are well off enough to donate as well.
And you've all done a really excellent job with all of them, but it still stings a bit, after my miscarriage, even though I decided not to have any after all.
