Well last weekend was just the perfect end to what was really quite a shit Easter break. It was awesome!

SUPANOVA OMG. Nuff said! Well, not nuff said. Jewel Staite said in front of a room full of people that my Kaylee costume was one of the best she'd ever seen, and I got a massive round of applause! I met James Kyson Lee and Superman and a Stormtrooper (not the real ones, except James Kyson Lee obviously) and got autographs and spent $200 that I couldn't afford but didn't really care because JEWEL SAID I WAS ONE OF THE BEST. :D

Then on Sunday night, went to the Great Debate, and ended up on stage during the finale with Stephen K Amos, and Alice got to meet Hamish (apparently she's now fulfilled her life's purpose).

Then I skipped uni today because I was unsurprisingly exhausted. Oh well!

My dad had an eye patch like Xander's! *giggle* Ok, so it wasn't that funny, but still. Also, you know how when Buffy and Willow hold him up and his hands sort of flop downwards - that actually has to do with the inability to see out of one eye, cos my dad did it too. Weird, huh?

I am sick of not being able to go to the bathroom in the morning without going all 007 and dodging the workmen or getting dressed first. It's pissing me off sincerely even though most of them are really nice. Frank was here until past 8:00 last night. I also wish we could take the paint-splattered sheets off the floor so I can walk barefoot in safety. But noooo.

I watched Rove for the first time last night to see James but his interveiw was MEASLEY. And he said almost exactly the same things he'd said on Saturday, except Rove didn't know who Joss was so James had to waste precious seconds trying to explain.

I think I missed the waking up stage of getting up this morning. My dad shook me awake going "Help me print these pictures, here, and here, and here, ok?" and then my mum came in going 'here's the laundry, distribute it please, oh and put the bed back together in Alice's room and get all your stuff off the floor and I'm sitting there going 'can I at least wake up first?'

To Sarah and Charli - congrats on your engagement. I don't even have a date, you bastards. :D

Anyone ever tried Shake flavoured skittles? They're kinda weird.

Apparently the timetable people must be uploading them BACKWARDS because I haven't got mine yet and HELLO, my name begins with B. Shut up about class lists, jetsam_porridge.

Ok, MSN officially sucks and I can't find the list of names+addresses I wrote out before we left, so can everyone please re-remind me of their emails so I can re-add you everywhere? If any of that made sense, that is.

Oh, I found all my Angel DVDs! The box was right at the bottom of the pile, but now I have them. Well, except for seasons 3+4 cos various people still have them but.. *breath* I'll survive, I guess.

Ok, so it was kind of scary finding our way back home in the dark with Mitz being almost blind and me having absolutely no knowledge of train stations whatsoever, but still, enlightening experience.

Plus, SO WORTH IT.

He is such a nice, sensitive person. He was crying when he was talking about how much he hated doing the rape scene. And he shook everyone's hand and said 'thankyou' as though you'd just donated 10000000 billion pounds to charity. *sigh*

I now also have season 6 Buffy on DVD and Angel Playing cards and Buffy playing cards. Whoo! I'm going to watch them now but tomorrow I will be posting MOVING photos! How very interesting..

I get to go to the convention!!!!!! *waves tax invoice* YAY! Poor James won't know what's hit him ;) Unfortunately there is numbered seating according to when you got the tickets, so I probably won't be anywhere near Shelly or Bronnie... aw, well. I am lucky I have been saving up for AGES for nothing in particular and am now LOADED. Merchandise, here comes I.

Currently trying to learn a new song to do on the Madrigals excursion to the Elderly Home next week. (Had a panic about this cos I thought I would have to miss it for the English SAC, but luckily I only miss music... sorry, Charli!) Anyway, I thought it would be nice to do something new. I hate singing old material. I picked one that I think the old people will like; only it's kind of low and boring. Maybe I shall change my mind… only I need to give the music to Mr. S tomorrow...

Caitlin still hasn't come back to school - she must be REALLY sick. We really need to practise our duet, though luckily no music due to it being entirely unaccompanied. (We wrote the song - there was no way we were writing a piano accompaniment as well). I did about half an hour's maths revision - and I think I'm gonna do ok. Can't say the same for English though... but I'll rant about that later.

Today must have been boring cos I can't remember anything about it... *grabs diary*

- Music - oh yeah, watched Buffy with jetsam_porridge. That was fun, even if I was confused by the two half episodes. Had wasted ten minutes or so trying to print off the paper bit of composition so was annoyed when Mr. G didn't even say thank you when I gave it to him.

- Media - impressed everyone with finished trailer but felt a bit down. Dunno why - could have been Bec playing with my hair.. ow...

- Science - ruined the rest of the day by somehow losing both my science books AND my charger. So now I have to take the other one to and from school until I find it. GRR.

- Lunch - sat in the gardens with Bronwyn and actually wrote a couple of paragraphs of Loving You. Go me.

- English - was PISSED OFF by lack of creative writing. She got me all excited last lesson by telling us to prepare for a monologue, but then today announced the details of the exam thingy next week. I really didn't listen to the rest of the lesson, instead wrote this in my folder:

So yeah, I was pretty annoyed with this teaching system. But then I went to concert choir and letting off some steam by singing REALLY LOUDLY. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot isn't the greatest song for this but I made do. I had a year 9 on one side and a year 11 on the other. Didn't get either of their names but they were really nice. Methinks I shall join permanently, even if this will complicate my music life even further.

Ok, this song is starting to grow on me/annoy me. Not sure… argh, life is sooooo complicated. And three days ago everything was so clear. Grr.
