Counting
The Count was good, they had an improved checking system in place this year and everything went nice and smoothly. The turnout was low so everything was pretty chilled and we were out by 2:15, a great improvement on the usual approaching-6. It's a bit odd leaving into the noisy, drunken, burger-scented late evening rather than the calm dawn. My count partner was lovely, full of interesting conversation and very efficient. He fed me Haribo and I fed him Red Bull and all was good (and the longest word you can make from the letters 'ELECTIONSTAFF' is 'affections', whilst the longest word you can make from the letters 'CHERRYHINTON' is something naff like 'trench').
