There have been a plethora of posts lately about working for Lush. Many of the questions asked in those posts have been answered in a post just days, if not hours, before. The tags are there for a reason, use them to find answers on specific subjects such as...working for Lush!

If the mods see another post with a question that's been answered recently, we will delete it and you will be warned. We have no problem removing posting access from members.

Use the tags and please don't aggravate your fellow Lushies. Thanks!

Sales and swaps are not allowed in this comm - we have a lovely community that exists for just that very thing called lush_swaps. Please note that telling someone to contact you via PM in the comments is still considered an attempt to swap or sell. Your comments will be deleted, and if done repeatedly, you could end up banned.

1. LJ recently made an option available where only the entry's author and maintainers could tag a post. I switched to that for this community but two people had problems. I don't understand why since others were able to tag their posts! I have since changed it back to the regular members only setting.

2. Please do not argue or talk back to the moderators or maintainers when we comment to your posts. If we comment it's because we see something that needs fixing, not for our enjoyment!

3. When posting about items you bought, please just use the "i bought" tag. It really defeats the purpose of tagging if you tag your post with every single item purchased. Tags are to help you find answers to questions that get asked repeatedly and cut down on your frustration with repeat posts-something the community asked for.

to remind everyone about our community rules. We've been having an increasing number of slip ups over the last week or so, and we've had a few new members so it's time for a refresher!

Share your Lush stories, your favorite products, etc. Please stay on topic, only posts about Lush and BNever will be allowed.

For swaps/sales/ISO's please visit lush_swaps. Any posts/comments about selling/swapping/group orders will be deleted immediately. You will get one reminder about this. On the second offense you will be banned.

(This includes offering an item to someone in the comments of a post.)

RULES

Rule #1: Tagging
All posts must be tagged. You can only use tags that are available. This means you can't make up your own tag, it won't show up and then we'll comment asking you to tag your post.  If there is no tag that's appropriate for your post, please use the tag: tag needed, or ask for a tag, and someone will take care of it. If you don't know how to tag, there is a tutorial here.

If you make a post that is not tagged we will comment with a reminder.
On the second offense, we will comment with a reminder and delete the post in 24 hours if it is not tagged.
On the third offense you will be banned from the community for two weeks. If you'd like, at the end of the two weeks you can reapply to join.

Rule #2: Posting pictures
Please use an lj-cut when posting pictures. We will comment with a reminder. You have 24 hours to fix the post or it will be deleted.

Rule #3: Comments
Do not delete comments. Doing so will get you removed from the community.

Rule #4: Respect
Be considerate of others. Honesty is welcome, rudeness and insults aren't.

There have been a number of posts in the community concerning the sale that Lush has on December 26th. As of today, nobody knows.

I think that for now all information relating to the sale will be under the Clean Slate 09 tag until we have another title for the sale which may or may not happen. Because we're all such good LUSHies you can safely assume that there will be a huge report under that tag as soon as someone knows anything! It seems that the offerings vary on what country you're in so if you're from the UK and posting the UK info, please specify that (or any other country!). Check the tags first!!!

If there is a tag all ready in existence in our rather extensive list of tags as you type the tag it will auto complete. If there is not a tag in the list for what your post is about (and you've checked the list of tags above to be sure) please use the tag needed tag - a moderator will add an appropriate tag and you won't be given a tag warning.

There are about 1900 people in our community. Tags help us keep things organized. With your help, all of the valuable knowledge you guys share is searchable - and helps create a great resource for newbies and veterans alike! Thanks for your help!

Just wanted to remind everyone to please please please PLEASE remember to use tags on your posts. It helps keep all of the fantastic information easily accessible and keeps things organized too. Also - you must select the tags from the available list, you can't create your own, only the mod and the maintainers can do that. If you feel that there's a tag needed, you can mention that in your post, but most importantly tag it with TAG NEEDED. This will let us know that a) you tried to tag it but couldn't find something appropriate and b) we need to make a tag.
