So... are any of you guys Buffy fans? Or Buffy haters? I've been a huge fan of Joss Whedon ever since I discovered Firefly, but I've never seen Buffy or Angel or anything else he's done. I just watched the pilot of Buffy and I gotta tell ya... I'm not really sold. I'm not a fan of the high school drama type of stuff it's using (which was my least favorite thing about Smallville when I watched the first couple seasons of that a little while back), and I don't really like Buffy as a character. I love Willow, though. And David Boreanaz is gorgeous, of course. So, I'll watch a few more episodes before I make a decision about whether or not I want to watch it or call myself a fan.

The other thing I didn't really like about the pilot, though, was that ZOMG Buffy's life is in danger at the end!!! I hate the plot point of "let's put the main character in danger in the first episode so that people tune in to see the second episode!" Come on. It's the title character. You aren't going to kill her off. What Joss did with Kaylee in the Firefly pilot was very different, because the way the ensemble cast was set up really did make the audience (or me, at least) believe that she could have been killed off. Plus, it resolved itself in the first episode; it wasn't carried over to the next episode as if trying to rope viewers in. *shrugs* I dunno, I guess it just feels like a cheap trick, and I didn't expect it of Joss.

Thoughts? Anyone want to say "hang in there, it gets better!" or "OMG bail out now, it's the worse show ever!"?

Do any of you know any products that minimize or get rid of acne scars? I have a bunch of red marks left over from high school that I'd like to be rid of. Help?

*points to icon* Oh, Gob... Oh, Will Arnett...

Also, does anyone know what tendinitis and/or carpal tunnel feels like? My left arm has been killing me. Maybe I'm just having a heart attack.
