Arvaker 1, 2, 3 [Kongsberg NanoAvionics]
Arvaker 1 to 3 are Norwegian microsatellites developed and operated by KONGSBERG Defence & Aerospace.
The satellite is part of the N3X constellation awarded under a 2024 contract with the Norwegian Armed Forces to provide maritime surveillance data. This data will support Norwegian government agencies including the Armed Forces, Coastal Administration, Directorate of Fisheries, and Norwegian Customs.
Built on the MP42H platform by Kongsberg NanoAvionics, Arvaker 1 N3X is equipped with an Automatic Identification System (AIS) receiver and advanced detection systems from Kongsberg Discovery. It also carries a navigation radar detector developed by the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI).
The satellite is part of a three-unit constellation planned under a five-year surveillance program aimed at enhancing national maritime situational awareness.
Arvaker 1 was launched as part of SpaceX's Transporter-13 rideshare mission.
