School starts the day after tomorrow...

I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it.

I feel that somehow, this will be one of the most hectic years, for everyone really, what with all the lack of money and periods and... assholes. No, I wish there was a lack of assholes. I just mean that the administrators are assholes.

At least I have Brown to look forward to. I won't have to do any cartwheels with my writing to impress the woman. I will, however, have to work and study for the AP test this time around. Unless she's really cool and prepares us properly.

The AP test I really don't feel too good about is French... and Econ for that matter. French because I suck at grammar. Econ... I have a feeling about Econ. I just know American Government is going to be the most boring class in the world, but I think I'll do ok.
[in a somehwat related note, according to my STAR results, my knowledge of American History is "Advanced" XD ]

I need to read something else. I loved Hamlet, I really did, but...gah. I need a book. I might as well organise myself and make a list of what needs to be read.

Reading List

*Return of the King (I have to finish this in time for the movies... but its going so SLOW! Now I can't even tell the difference between Pippin and Merry... I have no idea where they each are... gah!)

*American Gods- Neil Gaiman (I started this one and got quite into it before I remembered I had to read all that stuff for English. :P )

*Catch-22 (I was liking this one a lot too... and I left off... somewhere.)

I hate this. I've developed the habit of just picking up a book, reading a bit, and then abandoning it. It's all Harry Potter's fault. :P

26 DAYS UNTIL I'M 17!!


note: I'm not specifically excited about the prospect of being 17, but more at the fact that it's going to be my birthday soon. I could be turning 16 again and I'd still be this excited. Wait... nevermind. I do wanna turn 17. One year closer to 18 and La Opera. ^_^
