Isn't hindsight a funny thing?
I have been struggling with NOT fragmenting while going into a visionary state ~ based on misplaced warnings I have now let go of... This time, after reaching the point that I began to see shimmering lights, much like I see in crystals, I just let go....
I tried to go where I went before - during the oracular seidr, but it was not to be. Then I tried to let go again and saw roots = HUGE roots and I tried to visualize the Norns and was pushed back very quickly to the base of a tree. I looked up and there were enormous gnarled branches that covered the sky - they WERE the sky... and the trunk filled the world ~ it WAS the world!
I had been seeing a white figure leaping up and down in the corner of my vision, I looked now ~ hoping to see Laurel's swans I had seen during seidr ~ but it was a rabbit! It had long ears and spoke to my mind the second I saw it - it was like recognizing it ~ remembering it. It wanted me to go to the tree. I tried to set my back against it but it felt wrong. The rabbit wanted me to go forward to it. I tried to wrap my outstretched arms out against the trunk and melded into it and became a part of the tree.
Then I wanted to travel! But the rabbit insisted it was time to return...

WOW, and wow! I grounded and got up to eat something. Then I sketched the tree and rabbit and wrote about what occured. I think my journey has begun!
