Last night was pretty good-- a moderately expensive, delicious dinner accompanied a business meeting that became a pleasant "girls night out" gathering afterwards. Then things went back downhill-- when I called Ja I found out that Ja was washing a soured feather pillow for the second time, then I forgot to bring in all my returns to Target... then there were issues getting comfortable in the new bed, then in the morning I hurt Ja's feelings, then, as I was about to tell my cat to stop crying at me and let me go to work, I noticed...

great big drops of blood in the foyer.
