A list of games I'm now currently excited about. I've done this many a time, but I've added a few more thanks to E3. Also, I've added a list of some of the interesting sounding 3DS games slated for release on the system.

( My List of Anticipated GamesCollapse )

Nintendo is going to steal all my money. Darn it.

E3 starts this week...

We start off on Monday with the Microsoft press conference, followed by Nintendo on Tuesday at 9 and Sony following Nintendo on Tuesday.

Games I expect to see:
-Epic Mickey
-Metroid: Other M
-Zelda Wii
-Golden Sun
-Okamiden
-Pokemon Black and White
-3DS presentation
-Harry Potter Lego, years 1-4
-The Last Guardian (PS3)

What I want to see:
-Kid Icarus announcement
-Baten Kaitos game
-Tales of Graces localization announcement (it would give me one less reason to hack my Wii, Nintendo. Do you really to seem do that?)
-New Tales announcement
-Tales of Vesperia localization announcement

There's a good reason for Baten Kaitos to be on my list, but we're still not sure if that's fake or if it's a typo. It sounds too good to be true.

Not interested in the MS or Sony, so I'm not sure if I'll keep track of that information or not this year.

I'm starting to look at flights from Korea to Japan and then Japan to the US. And I want to cry. It should not cost me almost 1,000 to get to Japan from Korea and another 2-3,000 to get from Japan to the US. That's insane. JAPAN AND KOREA ARE LESS THAN 4 HOURS AWAY FROM EACH OTHER, FOR PETE'S SAKE. It's actually cheaper to fly from Korea back to the US than to fly to Japan. At this point in time, I wonder if taking a ferry might be cheaper... and then taking the bullet train to Seoul or Niigata. I'll have to talk to Ikasu and figure out my departure date from Korea first though. But yeah, no more big spending for me, I guess...if I really want to go to Japan I'm going to have to start making some sacrifices.

HEXAGON, YES!

There's also a trailer available on www.gametrailers.com. It's only a sneak peek trailer though.

I heard from some other people online that Final Fantasy XIV is going to be an MMO and that FFVII is going to come to the PSN (playstation network?, I guess).

I don't really care about Sony or Microsoft since I don't own a PS3 and don't really care about the 360, so I won't be following up on their reports at all. Sorry, but unless the 360 or PS3 release a RPG that I'm interested in (besides Vesperia), I'm happy enough with my Wii and handhelds.

( My Updated Game ListCollapse )

I watched some more of Kekkaishi with Fawn and Kari today. It seems weird to think we're on the 30th episode already. It really doesn't seem that long... I am really starting to like it. It is definitely shounen in some ways, but it's one that I think that even non-shounen fans would like. The characters are pretty likable, and I like how the show focuses not only on the fighting but their social lives as well. The main character, Yoshi, has a HUGE crush on his neighbor Tokine, and it's cute to see how he reacts when she scolds him, and interesting to see how he reacts when she gets kidnapped. *smirks*

Interestingly enough, I actually like Tokine. She can be a real jerk to Yoshi sometimes, but you can tell she actually does care about him. What I like best about her is the she keeps Yoshi in check and she's very good at formulating plans. She might not be as strong as Yoshi when it comes to creating kekkais, but the two of them work really well as a team, strategizing and whatnot.

I'm going to leave for Ikasu's tomorrow around, so I'll most likely not be available by internet until next Monday. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
