| Storm Linux was a Debian-based distribution aimed at server and desktop markets, produced by Stormix Technologies. The company was founded in February 1999 in Vancouver, Canada with the goal of providing tools that Linux needed to compete against Windows NT. It closed in April 2001 after failing to attract capital for continued operation.

Valtux OS
Valtux OS is a desktop Linux distribution based on Debian's "Stable" branch and featuring the KDE Plasma desktop. Developed in Switzerland, it provides out-of-the-box support for all official languages (French, German, Italian and Romansh) and keyboard layouts used in the country. The distribution includes many popular productivity and multimedia software and is intended for all types of users - from complete Linux beginners to experienced power users.
