The DragonOS project has announced the release of a major update to DragonOS, a specialist Ubuntu-based Linux distribution designed for those interested in software-defined radio (SDR). It ships with a suite of some of the most powerful and accessible open-source SDR software. The latest version, labelled as "Resolute_R1" is based on the long-term supported Lubuntu 26.04: "DragonOS Resolute_R1 (08/026/2026) - new ground-up build on Ubuntu 26.04 with Linux kernel 7.0. Supported SDRs: USRP/UHD 4.9 (B200, B210, B205mini, X3xx, N3xx, E3xx, AntSDR, LibreSDR); BladeRF (x40, x115, 2.0 micro); HackRF One; LimeSDR (USB, Mini, XTRX); RTL-SDR; Airspy (R2, Mini, HF+); SDRplay (RSP series); ADALM-Pluto; HydraSDR (RFOne); Fobos SDR; SDDC (RX888, RX666, BBRF103); Mirics (SoapyMiri); Red Pitaya; SoapyRemote (network SDR); VITA 49/VRT (network IQ over UDP). The Co-CreateLinux distribution was designed for business and home desktop market and its main features are simplified installation procedure, high compatibility with Windows and ease of use.
